I recently recommended Lee Child's thriller, 61 HOURS, and here I am already reviewing the next Jack Reacher thriller.

All I can say is that you shouldn't start reading this book unless you have some time to spend with it because you're not going to want to put it down. The suspense starts on the first page and doesn't quit until the end.

"The Duncans want Reacher gone - and it's not just past secrets they're trying to hide. For as dangerous as the Duncans are, they're just the bottom of the criminal food chain stretching halfway around the world. For Reacher, it would have made much more sense to put some distance between himself and the hard-core trouble that's bearing down on him. For Reacher, that was also impossible."

The Rebel Wife (Hardcover)

For those of you who enjoy a well-researched historical novel, I highly recommend this debut novel by Taylor M. Polites. THE REBEL WIFE is sure to propel Polites into the national spotlight as a major new voice who uses the Southern Gothic tradition to explode literary archetypes like the chivalrous Southern gentleman, the good mammy, and the defenseless Southern belle.

"THE REBEL WIFE bears comparison with Flannery O'Connor's and William Faulkner's prose, with the exception that Polites cherishes few illusions about Lost Causes. The failure of Reconstruction meant the deferral of full rights for the former slaves for a full century. This stunning debut novel looks without flinching at one of the enduring shames of our American history, in prose that will linger long after you close its pages." David Poyer, author

LUCY is a fast-paced blend of thriller, genetic engineering, identity, survival and love... an emotional page-turner that poses some big questions.

Totally absorbing! I highly recommend it.
