About Bruce's Browser

Located near the "uptown" common at the site of the former Bruce's Pharmacy, Bruce's Browser is a 3000 square foot bookstore and cyber cafe' with a retro soda fountain featuring such customer favorites as hot fudge sundaes, frappes, ice cream sodas, Dean's Beans coffee, and Lime Rickey’s. 

The book selection is large and diverse, with something for everyone. Titles range from biographies to sports, from mysteries to true crime, from general fiction to "classics", from children's books to parenting help, from inspiration to health, from economics to politics, from romance to cookbooks, from history to reference, from fantasy to humor, from self-help to do-it-yourself projects, from gardening to pets, from travel to nature guides, and the list goes on.

There is a terrific selection of magazines, an eclectic mix of CDs, and a nice assortment of Hallmark cards and gift wrap.  The gift department includes the always popular Yankee Candles and an interesting assortment of decorative items.

The open area at the back of the store, aptly called "the back corner", is home to a variety of events including author signings, poetry readings, panel discussions, and presentations on the large-screen television.
